EMILE SORNIN

DIZZEE RASCAL - I don't need a reason

Emile is a French director who grew up in La Rochelle in South-West of France near the sea and moved to Paris for studying.
He starts his career as video editor and spends his free time directing short movies and music videos for his friends.
In 2011, he signs at Division Paris and directs his first music video for the company for Cut Copy.
Halfway between Michel Gondry and Monthy Python, Emile Sornin's universe often features surrealistic scenes with strong visual effects, all of which he tests at home before shooting them on the set.

He is with DIVISION / LES TELECREATEURS for music videos/commercials in France and RIFF RAFF for commercials in the UK and directed remarkable music videos for Naïve New Beaters, ALT-J, Disclosure and Dizzee Rascal.

In 2013 he was nominated as Best Young Director & Best Urban Video at UK MVA.
In 2014, in Best Effect’s category at the MTV Music Video Award and also as Next Director Award at D&AD.

His directing career aside, Emile conquers the world with his music band "Forever Pavot" (Born Bad Records).
